Alex Daniluk has made quite a name for himself as a premier bartender in Denver’s thriving cocktail scene. Alex has mixed first class drinks at bars such as Union Lodge No.1, Arvada Tavern, Ste. Ellie, Colt and Grey, and most recently, Brass Tacks. He has received numerous awards and accolades in magazines including Eater.com, The Denver Post, Westword, Liquor.com, and 5280. Alex wants to bring the same ambiance of these cozy and welcoming bars to as many events as possible.
Nick Daniluk has a background in building and fabricating everything from motorcycles and hot rods to luxury bathrooms and kitchens. Nick also has a unique insight into event planning and entertainment from several years as a professional musician. When Nick started working for a local company specializing in building custom Airstream trailers, it quickly occurred to him that with their combined skills, Nick and Alex could give Colorado the bar experience it deserves.
Odessa is our flagship trailer. She stared life as a typical 1955 Flying Cloud Airstream trailer. She went on camping trips, family vacations and cross country cruises. Then, at some point later in life, she took on a new purpose. A concession door was fitted in the side of the trailer and she began a career of serving lemonade, ice-cream, and other refreshments. After Odessa’s short lived life as drink cart, she was sadly put in storage and wasn’t seen again for over 20 years. Then in the summer of 2018, Odessa was rediscovered and brought back to life as a drink cart once more, but with a modern touch.
Now, Odessa has begun a new journey as a mobile cocktail bar with the ability to serve guest both inside and outside the trailer. An 8 foot bar top and matching concession door allows plenty of room for people to place drink orders or sit and enjoy their cocktail. The interior is complete with an elegant velvet booth, table, and handmade bar top that has the feel of a classic speakeasy.
Haulin' Oats is a 1977 8-Hand Horse Trailer. It has roamed the mountains of Colorado its entire life. Clocking in more mountain miles than Zebulon Pike himself has given this trailer the bragging-rights of trekking over the Continental Divide, forging across the Arkansas River, and sliding down every black diamond slope from Breck to Copper.
In its retirement Oats now bears a tuxedo exterior and a wooden western saloon interior. Its memories of adventure are forever engrained.
